Graduated Steps Inc.
Homework Assignment to Nationwide Mission
My name is Anthony J. League, and I’m the Founder and President of Graduated Steps Inc.
The idea for Graduated Steps began as a simple homework assignment in my real estate course. I was tasked with creating a lead generation strategy to help grow a client base. But instead of just a marketing tactic, I envisioned something deeper — a system that could empower students, give them stable housing, and help them graduate with more than just a degree.
That classroom idea became something much bigger: a national solution. I realized the most powerful lead you can generate isn’t for a business — it’s for a better future.
So I turned the idea into a nonprofit. And from that moment, Graduated Steps was born.
As someone who has carried the weight of student debt, financial uncertainty, and a lack of generational support, I know how hard it is to build a future when you’re always trying to survive the present. I want to give students what I wish I had — affordable housing, credit building, and real financial security by the time they leave our program.
This mission is personal. And it’s also scalable. We’re starting in Alameda, CA — but the vision is national. 90+ locations. Thousands of lives changed.
Thank you for believing in what we’re building.
